Christopher Michael Wise III began his musical journey during his toddler years. Constantly around different genres of music, singing with his family's gospel group, and taking an interest in playing the drums at the age of 3, music has played a big part of his family's history and upbringing.
Taking up the flute, piano, and theater at the Ray and Joan Kroc Center directed by Mr. Jason Collier and The Philadelphia Youth Orchestra's Tune Up, Philly! Program directed by Mr. Paul Smith, Christopher was 8 years old and found that he had a true passion for playing the flute.
Through Tune Up, Philly! Christopher has had tremendous opportunities and experiences to showcase his talent with his fellow peers and also with two of his Mentors Mr. Paul Smith and Mr. Elijah Thomas who is also his flute instructor.
He has played with The Philadelphia Youth Orchestra and performed at The Ray and Joan Kroc Center, Kimmel Center's Verizon Hall, Philadelphia Youth Orchestra's Gala for 75 years of dedication at the Union League, Philadelphia's Festival of Young Musicians, Barnes Foundation, 59th Street Baptist Church and Opening for the Philadelphia Phillies.
Christopher is currently 10 years old and is enrolled as a 5th grader in the Philadelphia School District. In his spare time he enjoys dancing, playing sports, swimming, spending time with his family and friends, and just simply having fun. Music will always have a special place in his heart.
Christopher's musical aspirations is to allow himself opportunities to perform so he can enhance his gift. He foresees himself attending a college to study music, becoming one of the best musicians out of Philadelphia and someday sharing and teaching his talent to others.
