Christopher Michael Wise III is currently 13 years old and is enrolled as an 8th grader in the Philadelphia School District. In his spare time, he enjoys dancing, cooking, swimming, spending time with his family and friends, and just simply having fun. Constantly around different genres of music, singing with his family's gospel group, and taking an interest in playing the drums at the age of 3, music has played a big part in his family's history and upbringing. Christopher began playing the flute over 6 years ago at the Ray and Joan Kroc Center.

Christopher is currently a member of Symphony in C Youth Orchestra of Southern New Jersey, The Philadelphia All-City Middle School Orchestra (for the last 2 years he’s been first seat, first chair flute). He has attended the prestigious Kinhaven Music School Summer Camp in Weston, VT for the last 3 summers, studied at the Curtis Institute of Music and The Philadelphia Clef Club. He is currently mentored and trained by Chelsea Meynig and is taking additional classes at Settlement Music School in Fall of 2018.

He has performed at some of the Tri-State Area’s premier events and locations such as The Ray and Joan Kroc Center, Kimmel Center, Philadelphia Union League, Philadelphia's Festival of Young Musicians, Barnes Foundation, and opened for the Philadelphia Phillies, but his favorite performance venue is the Historic Homes in Fairmount Park.

Christopher's musical aspirations are to allow himself opportunities to perform so he can enhance his gift. He foresees himself attending a college to study music, becoming one of the best musicians out of Philadelphia and someday sharing and teaching his talent to others.
